The Scholarship Program

In partnership with The University of Sydney, the Foundation has established the Nick van Gelder Dreamers Scholarship. The Foundation was launched in the 2022 academic year providing two A$25,000 per annum scholarships. An additional two A$25,000 per annum scholarships were in awarded for the 2023 academic year and an additional two scholarships for the 2024 academic year will be announced shortly.

The Scholarships provides opportunities and support to those in the community who would otherwise not be able to follow their dreams in the field of infrastructure due to significant obstacles, such as lack of financial resources or access to education programmes.

The Foundation’s long term objective is the establishment of an endowment which can fund full scholarships for successful applicants, as well as fund events that will bring communities together and enrich the lives of the people living in those communities.

The Scholarship Program seeks to support outstanding high school graduates who have overcome significant obstacles such as financial or access to education programs and have a continuing passion for academic excellence, sport, the arts, leadership, entrepreneurship, development and contributing positively to their community.

Applications for 2024 are now closed.
