St Paul’s College & Academic Life
Between 1985 and 1987, Nick attended St Paul’s College at The University of Sydney, where he received his Bachelor of Economics. Once again, he continued to excel at making friends, creating mischief, sport and social activities.
College friends will remember Nick for his ability to take risks as they watched on in awe, to make them laugh and to entertain. Life with Nick at St Paul’s was never dull - he had a breadth of interest that was worthy of respect, and a breadth of opinion that was always open to challenge. Nick always loved a good intellectual argument!
Nick enjoyed college life - rowing in the College Eight and playing in the College Rugby team, for which he was outside centre in the winning Rawson Cup team of 1987. He was Cellarmaster in 1987 and he also represented The University of Sydney in rugby. He continued to be a supporter of The Sydney University Football Club until the day he died.
Nick has been honoured as a Life Member of the St Paul’s College Foundation. A plaque in his memory has aptly been mounted in the Salisbury Bar at St Paul’s College.
After he received his Bachelor of Economics at The University of Sydney, Nick later went on to become a Certified Valuer (Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors), complete a Diploma of Property Valuation & Law at City University, London, complete a Master of Arts (Finance), City University, London and complete a Master of Business Administration, Royal College of Estate Management, UK.
